The Girls Out Loud Foundation is a charitable fund administered by Forever Manchester, the Community Foundation for Greater Manchester (charity no. 1017504). It supports the work of Girls Out Loud, a social enterprise on a mission to raise the aspirations of teenage girls.

Now in our 16th year, we’ve partnered with over 80 schools and impacted the lives of around 30,000 girls – and we’re only just getting started. Our work focuses on empowering young girls to be bold, brave, and believe in their potential.

We deliver early interventions in schools ranging from 2-hour sessions to 12-month programmes. Our flagship initiative is BIG SISTER, a role model mentoring programme for 12–14-year-old "middle girls." We also support vulnerable and at-risk girls through our coaching intervention STARDOM, and run workshops and speed mentoring events in schools across the North West.
